September 15, 2022Azotic Technologies Granted New Patent for Canada
February 1, 2023Azotic receives organic approvals for Envita® in Canada and Encera™ in UK
Azotic Technologies Ltd (Azotic) today announced that their market-leading nitrogen fixing products of Envita® in Canada and of Encera™ in the United Kingdom are approved for organic use. Canadian approval is based on the National Standard of Canada on Organic Production Systems and Permitted Substances Lists (CAN/CGSB 32.310 and CAN/CGSB 32.311). In The UK organic suitability is set according to the Soil Association Organic Standards for Great Britain & Northern Ireland as a preparation of micro-organisms.
″Global market demand for organically certified crops is growing and the addition of these organic approvals to our product portfolio provides Azotic further growth potential beyond our production agriculture foundation,″ said Ray Chyc, CEO of Azotic. Our goal is to have our N-fixing products fit any farming practice while delivering strong ROI. With these organic registrations and more to come, we are delivering on that promise.″
Envita and Encera are applied in a liquid formulation as foliar or in-furrow applications, allowing farmers to reduce synthetic nitrogen fertilizer in crops including corn, soybeans, potatoes, and cereals while maintaining yield. Envita and Encera are also applied to existing fertilizer programs to boost yields. Envita and Encera enable cells throughout the plant, including foliage and roots, to fix their nitrogen and fill the nitrogen gap between crop-available and crop-accessible nitrogen.
These organic approvals are only the beginning in North America as we rapidly expand registration,″ explained David Brady, Head of Global Regulatory Affairs for Azotic. Now that we are registered in the UK, we are actively pursuing organic registrations across EU countries and in other key global markets.″
