About John Squire PhD
A love of agriculture started at an early age for John and a career doing what he loves has followed. He earned a bachelor’s degree in the area of Range Science, a master’s studying Weed Science, and a Ph.D. in Crop Science. After completing his Ph.D., John worked for LG Seeds as an Agronomist, Forage Specialist, and Product Development, he then went to the alfalfa industry with Forage Genetics and WL Alfalfas. Later John worked as a Technical Agronomist with United Suppliers and with a merger, accepted a role doing research and product development with seed treatments and seed care for WinField United where he learned about Envita and wanted to try the technology. Seeing Envita as a revolutionary product in agriculture, John was integral in introducing Envita to growers as part of his work with Legend Seeds.
